When you walk into an auto dealership, what is the first thing you notice? Other then the cars the one thing I have always noticed is the amount of lights in the showroom. The dealership is trying to showcase the product they are selling and they use lights to draw you in and get you closer to the product being featured.

One thing I have always advised my home selling clientele when selling their home in the Metro Detroit and Novi Real Estate Market is make sure you turn on as many lights, open the blinds and draw the curtains to let in as much sunshine as possible when you have a home showing. One final touch to this tip that is very important to is make sure your windows are clean and spotless.

One of the top uninviting scenarios is when a buyer walks into a home is when it is dark and gloomy, all the curtains are closed and no lights are on. You want your home to shine and this is such an easy thing to do when showing your home. Take the extra few minutes before each showing and spend the extra few dollars on your electricity, it will pay off.
